Rock County Habitat for Humanity, located in south central Wisconsin, was formed in January 1990 as an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International.  Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical, Christian housing ministry that seeks to eliminate substandard housing worldwide, and make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.

Rock County Habitat works in partnership with people from all walks of life to develop decent homes and communities in Rock County where people can live and grow.  Habitat not only builds houses - it builds new relationships and a sense of community.

Rock County Habitat's program give families a "hand-up," not a "hand-out."  Habitat homes are sold for no profit on no-interest, 20-year mortgages to partner families who have completed their sweat equity hours.

Rock County Habitat for Humanity follows all local, state and national guidelines, and does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, age, disability, religion, marital status, or because all or part of the applicant's income is derived from public assistance programs.
