In-Kind Donations

Rock County Habitat for Humanity accepts a variety of in-kind gifts.  Because the houses are sold to partnering families, Habitat uses new items to construct the houses.  However, there are some items that may have some resale value that Habitat will accept.  These items will be sold with the understanding that the money will be used to fund future Habitat projects.

Listed below are items that Habitat may accept as in-kind donations.

Building Items: lumber, sheet rock, doors, nails, roofing materials, windows, etc

Tools: hammers, ladders, handsaws, shovels, paint brushes, etc.

Power Equipment: sanders, saws, chainsaws, etc.

Household Interiors: lighting, carpeting, vinyl flooring, ceramic tile cabinets, sinks, laundry tubs, etc.

Landscaping: top soil, grass seed, fill dirt, trees, shrubs, flowers, edging, etc.

Land: vacant lots in Rock County to use as future build sites

Office Equipment: copier, updated computer equipment, etc.

Please contact the Habitat office if you have an item you would like to donate.  Do not hesitate to call if you are unsure whether the item you have is of use to Habitat.  Give us a call and we can let you know
